Towards the end of 2022 I was invited by Antone Displays to take a brief for a new installation in Next Beauty, Meadowhall. Next had taken over the old Debenhams store and the new site was for the amazing skin and wellness brand Elemis.

Elemis had recently undertaken a new retail strategy created by the New York agency Schoolhouse. Implemented into 20 stores along with the brands first shop in shop in Harrods this new look introduced bold and serene colours giving a luxurious feel. My client was already rolling out these units into Boots stores and the Next Beauty fixture needed to be similar but different.

The Meadowhall site was near the main entrance and angular in shape. By taking elements of the original Schoolhouse design and mixing up the colour palette I created a proposal that was part of the Elemis family but bespoke to Next. Although changes had to be made to incorporate some of Next's own fixtures the installation was a success and the design created a kit of parts to be rolled out into other sites and store groups.

It was a fantastic project to work on. The new colours and the gorgeous bespoke William Morris wallpaper inspired the visuals whilst the team at Antone brought them to life.
